Diane’s Social Mission

Diane Adebayo is the founder of ‘Here In You’, a community interest company (CIC) committed to empowering young people to cultivate resilience, unlock their full potential, promote their well-being, and thrive in all aspects of life. After experiencing a life-threatening heath condition in her final year of secondary school, Diane recognises and advocates the necessity of equipping young people for life beyond education and cultivating resilience to help them navigate life’s challenges.

In Diane’s own words: “Transforming from being a long-term neurology patient back into Year 11 just over a month before my GCSEs-after missing six months of the year-was a success. However, transitioning into sixth form a few months later was a year-total failure. The key difference in these two experiences was this: the presence or lack of empowerment.”

Understanding that educators can’t do it all alone, Diane has made it her mission to bridge the gap by equipping young people with the tools they need to navigate life beyond eduction. She believes that transitions and integration-whether moving between schools or stepping into the corporate world-are critical moments that can shape a young person’s success and well-being.

By providing services to both educational and corporate organisations, Diane is determined to build and run ‘Here In You’ as a sustainable (CIC). Through skill-training workshops, development programmes, online webinars, and mentorship opportunities, ‘Here In You’ creates supportive platforms for personal and professional growth, empowering young people, and especially girls and women- to cultivate resilience, unlock their full potential promote their well-being, and thrive in all aspects of life.
